Details La Sportiva G5 Evo Mountaineering Boot The G5 Evo is La Sportiva's super-light, super-warm technical mountaineering boot for prolonged stays in both static and dynamic winter mountain environments and combines the thermal insulation characteristics of a double shell boot with the lightness and low volume of a single shell boot. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ THERMIUM™ Insulation Technology wraps around the shell at the front, including the midsole, keeping your feet notably warmer than traditional insulation materials without increasing boot volume, weight or restricting mobility. UltraSonic Welding technolology with internal thermo-taping gives a super-clean and seamless design, as the materials to be joined together without stitching. The G5 Evo is quick and easy to fit thanks to the external Boa System - you can get a perfect adjustment without needing to take your gloves off. The rear flex zone facilitates walking on all types of terrain, even on uneven terrain. Weather protection is maximised thanks to the water resistant Cordura® gaiter with heat sealed zipper and Velcro cover and the inner water resistant membrane. Volume and weight are reduced to a minimum: the protective edge is made of a super lightweight material, PU TechLite™ while the midsole is super-insulating 3mm carbon honey-comb tech.
